The Knicks announced that Jared Jeffries has suffered a left fibula fracture.

After an impressive play in practice blocking a layup attempt on Stephon Marbury, Jeffries said he felt like "a horse kicked me in my shin."

Jeffries said he heard a pop. He was taken to Saratoga Hospital where x-rays revealed the fracture.

Jeffries will miss six to eight weeks.
