Magic guard J.J. Redick is happy to have another year of security with the team after Orlando picked up the 2009-10 option on his contract.

"At this point there’s no other way to take it than, and I felt like this summer that I had to work as hard as possible and earn that fourth year," Redick said. "I didn’t do a whole lot the first two years to warrant that (extension), so I’m happy I have another year of security and to prove myself to the Magic."
