Less than an hour after completing a 13 hour flight from Brazil to Phoenix, guard Leandro Barbosa was back on the court practicing with his teammates, the East Valley Tribune is reporting.

Barbosa left the team to be by his ill mother's side, and while she still is not breathing on her own, she has shown improvement.

"I was worrying about everything - I was missing time with the team, my mama was sick. I've never been through anything like this in my life," he said. "I know I was there a long time, but it's a family thing. I'm just happy she is doing better, and I am happy to be here."

"I appreciate my team, my teammates, and all the prayers. Now, I want to concentrate on getting back to work."
