Chris Paul set an NBA record on Saturday night as his Hornets routed the Heat to end a two-game losing skid.

Paul became the first player in NBA history to start a season with six games with 20 or more points and 10 or more assists, surpassing Oscar Robertson, who achieved fine consecutive games in 1968.

"Whatever I can do to help us win, that's what I'm going to do," Paul said. "It's an unbelievable honor to be mentioned in the same breath as Oscar Robertson. He averaged a triple double for a full season."
