Juwan Howard was waived by the Nuggets last week when they acquired Chauncey Billups, Antonio McDyess, and Cheikn Samb from the Pistons, and there are no plans to re-sign him.

Some thought Howard might return to Denver because the team waived McDyess, but NBA sources claim that will not happen.

Coach George Karl reportedly wanted Howard back because of injuries to Kenyon Martin (wrist) and Chris Andersen (rib).
