There were eight games on the schedule in the NBA on Tuesday night, with the Hawks and Lakers putting their undefeated records on the line.

- Cleveland 99, Milwaukee 93

It was close throughout, but the Cavaliers (6-2) held off the Bucks (3-5) on Tuesday night. LeBron James had 41 points and 6 assists, and Zydrunas Ilgauskas tallied 15 points and 10 rebounds in the win. Milwaukee outrebounded Cleveland by nine but turned the ball over seven more times and shot just 37% from the field. Richard Jefferson starred with 16 points and 6 boards while Charlie Villanueva added 12 points and 10 boards.

The Jazz (6-1) outscored the 76ers (2-5) by seventeen in the fourth quarter en route to a big road win. Carlos Boozer had 19 points and 16 rebounds while Deron Williams added 7 points and 9 assists in his first game of the season because of an ankle injury. Utah outrebounded Philadelphia by five and held the home team to just 38% shooting. Andre Miller tallied 25 points and 6 assists, and Andre Iguodala had 15 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 dimes in the loss.

The Spurs (2-4) used a seventeen point advantage in the second half on Tuesday night to come back and beat the Knicks (4-3). Tim Duncan had 23 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists, and Michael Finley added 14 points and 6 boards. San Antonio outrebounded New York by twelve and limited Mike D’Antoni's squad to 37% shooting. Jamal Crawford led the way for the Knicks with 28 points, and Zach Randolph contributed 15 points and 13 rebounds in the loss.

Al Jefferson had 25 points and 12 rebounds while Mike Miller posted 10 points, 8 boards, and 7 assists for the Wolves.
