Cavaliers' forward Anderson Varejao has been playing more in the second and fourth quarters and has become more of an offensive threat.

Cleveland coach Mike Brown has re-established the pick-and-roll with LeBron James and Varejao.

"He's a beneficiary of us going small," Brown said. "We spread the floor with LeBron handling the basketball. That middle is wide open because people have to stay home. We play pick-and-roll, and they have to make a decision. Are they going to help on Andy's roll or double-team LeBron? A lot of time they stay home.

"He has a good feel for playing pick-and-roll with LeBron. It was his bread and butter in the playoffs two years ago."

LBJ says the play is a big part of their offense.

"He gets me open, and I get him layups," Varejao said.
