After reports that his career could be in jeopardy, Nuggets' center Steven Hunter has been informed that he will play again.

"The doctor said it wasn't as bad as he thought," Hunter said of right knee surgery Friday. "I'm definitely going to be back. . . . It's great news."

Hunter could still miss all of this season, and he won't have an update for about two months. Denver has ruled him out at least 12 weeks.
