Five NBA games were played on Sunday, with the Pistons hosting Greg Oden and the Blazers and the Lakers hosting Chris Bosh and the Raptors.

The Blazers (12-6) used strong runs in the first and fourth quarters to defeat the Pistons (10-6) early Sunday afternoon. Greg Oden had 11 points and 13 rebounds; LaMarcus Aldridge scored 27 points; and Steve Blake added 10 points and 7 assists. Portland hit 52% of their shots and outrebounded Detroit by six. Richard Hamilton led with 18 points; Rodney Stuckey tallied 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists; and Amir Johnson added 8 points and 8 boards off the bench.

Ben Gordon scored 21 points; Drew Gooden tallied 20 points and 12 rebounds; and rookie Derrick Rose added 18 points, 10 assists, and 5 boards in the victory. Chicago hit 52% of their field goals and narrowly outrebounded (42-39) Philadelphia. Elton Brand led with 21 points and 12 rebounds; Andre Miller contributed 15 points and 10 assists; and Thaddeus Young added 17 points and 5 boards in the loss.

Yao Ming led with 18 points and 11 rebounds; Rafer Alston tallied 16 points and 6 assists; and Aaron Brooks scored 15 points off the bench.
