Portland center Joel Przybilla suffered an avulsion in his right wrist during Tuesday's victory over Boston.

An avulsion occurs when the bone to which a tendon is attached has cracked or broken, typically the injury takes 6-8 weeks to heal. The Blazers are hoping he will play through it.

"Joel is tough," coach Nate McMillan said. "He's definitely one of the toughest guys we have on the team. He's played through a lot of pain, and he doesn’t complain about it. He just wraps it up and continues to go to work. So, hopefully, he can do that again."
