Anthony Randolph is certainly being welcomed to the NBA in style, just not the kind he might have hoped for when he left LSU after his freshman season.

Three weeks after Don Nelson called out Randolph for poor practice habits, the coach said he's shelving his rookie for the time being.

"We're going to put him on ice for a while, until the assistant coaches tell me he's ready to play in an NBA game, and my captains tell me he's ready," Nelson said. "He's just going to have to grow up."
