Rider will retire the jersey of Kings' rookie Jason Thompson on Sunday.

Thompson, who wore No. 1, became the 96th player in Division I history to compile 2,000 or more points and 1,000 or more rebounds in his career.

"It's going to be great," Thompson said. "I get to go to school and see family and friends. I would never have pictured this as a freshman. It's all the hard work paying off."
