The Nuggets are down to two point guards and have two open roster spots, which leads coach George Karl to believe that they could sign his son Coby Karl by the end of the season.

"There's some fans," Karl said. "There are some people that like him. . . . As a dad, I hope that discussion would happen."

Karl, however, doesn't expect the signing to be made in the near future.
