Most teams expect the NBA to fine the Blazers for sending a "threatening" e-mail to the league in an attempt to keep teams from signing Darius Miles.

However, ESPN's Marc Stein gets the feeling that the NBA may opt not to fine Portland, who would face tough financial conditions if Miles' contract ultimately counts against their cap number.
