The Lakers have been without Jordan Farmar for 11 games and are leaning heavily on Derek Fisher in his absence, especially with Sasha Vujacic nursing a sore back.

"It's almost impossible for Derek not to play somewhere close to 40 minutes," Lakers' Coach Phil Jackson said. "It's a concern for us, but he's really kept himself in good condition."

The Lakers have reportedly inquired about Dan Dickau and D-Leaguers' Eddie Gill and Blake Ahearn as options at point guard.
