TNT analyst Kenny Smith was very impressed was Kevin Durant's performance during Friday night's Rookie-Sophomore game and had the following to say about the Thunder forward.

"He reminds me of the Ice Man. He's got a little George Gervin to him. He's like 6-10 handling the rock. If they list him at 6-9, he's every bit of it and handles the ball like he's 6-5 ... He's like a guard. He's freak of nature," Smith said on the air.

"You're watching an All-Star next year ... Reggie Miller didn't put on weight. He just has to be wiry strong. He doesn't have to put on weight, but he does have to get the strength. Three-pointers are his strength. When you can shoot it from that far you're Mr. Universe."

LeBron James was impressed with Durant as well, and indicated that the second-year forward has already improved.

"The one thing he's doing this year that he really didn't get a grasp last year is shot management. He only takes certain shots and creates certain shots. That's why he's shooting a better percentage," James said.

"Everybody wants him to be a (small forward) because he's 6-9. But I think his natural position is a two-guard. He can definitely fill it up from anywhere. As he continues to get stronger, he might be able to shift to the three, but right now he's a two, because they have Jeff Green beside him."
