Vince Carter's name has been mentioned in numerous trade rumors recently, but New Jersey president Rod Thorn says that nothing is on the horizon.

"Well, we haven't made any deals," Thorn said. "We've had conversations about a lot of players the last few days. And that will continue until Thursday.

"I don't think anything's happened that makes me feel one way or the other. We've had conversations with a bunch of teams about a bunch of things. But right now, nothing is imminent, nothing close to being done."
