The Sacramento Kings have agreed in principle to a trade with the Boston Celtics which will see Sam Cassell head West, Chad Ford from ESPN.com is reporting.
The deal helps the Celtics by removing Cassell's salary from the team's luxury-tax computations. The Kings give up virtually nothing to do it as the second round pick they will send to Boston is heavily protected.
