Hawks forward Josh Smith will not be suspended by the NBA for the flagrant-2 foul called against him in Monday's loss to the Jazz.

However, he will miss the game after returning to Atlanta for a personal matter.

Smith was ejected with 8:40 to play after knocking Matt Harpring to the floor on a fast break.
