Trevor Ariza apologized after Monday's game for hurting Rudy Fernandez on a hard foul and hoped that he wouldn't be suspended by the league.

"Honestly, there's nothing I can do about that," Ariza said. "I hope it doesn't happen. But I was just trying to go for the ball. I wasn't trying to hurt anybody or do anything like that." Odom's role in this was that he left the Lakers' bench while things were out of control. Odom took a few steps away from the bench until Lakers assistant coach Kurt Rambis pushed him away.
