Larry Hughes does not buy the reason the Bulls gave for de-activating him this season.

"They said they wanted to play the young guys and I took a minute to look at who are the young guys," Hughes said. "I felt everyone on the team was a veteran. That was kind of the excuse I was given. And that's how I look at it, as an excuse."
