Kings guard Kevin Martin has been bothered by a left ankle injury all season long and minor surgery is apparently a possibility.

X-rays taken Monday revealed a bone spur in the ankle.

"That would be a last option for me," said Martin. "I don't think that will happen. I'll take a few weeks off and see how it feels, and then we'll decide. This has been such a frustrating time.

"But shutting it down right now? Ah, no, that's not me."

Sacramento has five games left this season.
