Spurs center Tim Duncan hasn't been himself in the second half of the season, and coach Gregg Popovich has had to sit him often because of balky knees.

Duncan is averaging 16.4 points on 45.7 percent shooting from the field since the All-Star break.

Point guard Tony Parker doesn't think people believe how hurt Duncan has played this season.

"He's been like that for a while," Parker said. "People don't realize Timmy's been playing on one leg for like a month and a half now."

Duncan's play seemed to slip at the end of February when he missed three games with tendonosis in his right quadriceps.

Lately, he has been wearing sizable braces on both knees.
