The Hornets defeated the Mavericks 102-92 on Sunday afternoon to give themselves a one-game lead in the race for the sixth seed in the Western Conference.

Chris Paul starred with 31 points, 17 assists and 9 rebounds in the victory.

Both New Orleans and Dallas have two games left in the regular season.
