Bulls guard John Salmons has been battling through a groin injury for several weeks, but plans to play through it against the Celtics in the postseason.

"I think he's sore, he's injured, [and] he's not going to get better until he gets some rest. He's been trying to fight through it -- and sometimes it loosens up for him, and sometimes it stays tight," Chicago coach Vinny Del Negro said.

"It's just unfortunate timing, but he's been battling through it and has been a big factor in us getting to this position. So he'll go out there and give it all he can, and we'll try to work it as best we can and see how it goes."
