The NBA is reviewing a warning made by Mavericks center Erick Dampier to Spurs point guard Tony Parker heading into Game 3 of their series on Thursday.

League spokesman Tim Frank revealed that the comments are being reviewed.

Dampier told The Dallas Morning News after San Antonio's victory in Game 2 that he was going to put Parker "on his back" and that "my first foul has to tell him he's in for a long night."

Even if he escapes without a fine, Dampier will undoubtedly be watched closer by officials in Thursday's game.
