The Lakers will play their first exhibition game of the 2009-2010 season against the Warriors at Honda Center on Oct. 7.

The team will also play a second exhibition game at the arena on Oct. 22 against the Nuggets.

The Honda center is located in Anaheim, California.

"It's important for us to visit our fans that are outside of L.A. I like to think of the Lakers as Southern California's team, if not America's team," Lakers executive vice president of business operations Jeanie Buss said.
