Bulls guard Ben Gordon, bothered by a strained left hamstring, played just 31 minutes in Game 6 and hopes that the lighter workload will make a difference in the deciding game.

Chicago won Game 6 over Boston in three overtimes, and many players saw more than 50 minutes of action.

"It's not really getting better, but in Game 6, my minutes were staggered because of foul trouble and the rotation," Gordon said. "I wasn't able to work up a lather like the first game I played with it. I couldn't get loose the whole game.

"I'm hoping that makes a difference," he added. "A lot of guys played 50 or more minutes. In this series, you need any edge you can get."
