Lakers forward Luke Walton is expected to miss Game 1 of the team's second-round series against the Rockets because of an injured left ankle.

"It will be a big surprise if he's ready for the first ballgame," Los Angeles coach Phil Jackson said of Walton.

Walton was injured in Game 4 of the Lakers' first-round series against the Jazz.
