Celtics guard Rajon Rondo wasn't himself in Game 7 on Saturday night, blaming a spicy pregame meal for some digestive troubles.

Rondo finished the game with a series-low 7 points and 11 assists, but Boston still prevailed 109-99 over Chicago.

"Rondo didn't feel great at the beginning of the game," coach Doc Rivers said. "I don't know if he ate something, I don't know what it was, but you could see it."

Eddie House and Stephon Marbury stepped in for Rondo admirably when needed.

"Eddie, defensively, proved something we didn't know - that he can be a damned good defender," Rivers said. "He was terrific. He made shots, but by him playing defense, it allowed us to keep him on the floor, and that was really important."
