Celtics coach Doc Rivers took the blame for the team's Game 1 loss to the Magic on Monday night, refusing to place any blame on fatigue.

"There was no fatigue," Rivers said. "I don't believe in that. We had a whole day off, we ain't making no excuses.

"Obviously I've got to do something to get them going better."

The Celtics needed seven games to get past the Bulls, with the series ending Saturday night.

Boston's Rajon Rondo, who nearly averaged a triple-double in the first round, admitted that he wasn't aggressive against Orlando.

"I just wasn't aggressive," said Rondo. "I usually get the rebounds myself and push it, but we were taking it out of the net every time and it was hard to get aggressive in the open court in transition. We were taking the ball out of bounds every time in the first half."
