The Denver Nuggets beat the Mavericks 124-110 on Wednesday night in Game 5 to advance to the Western Conference Finals.

Carmelo Anthony scored 30 points, while Chauncey Billups had 28 points.

"It's special. We worked hard in the offseason and training camp and throughout," Anthony said. "We stuck to everything, we overcame adversity, we stayed humble and our hard work paid off.

This marks the first time Denver has reached the Western Conference Finals since 1985.
