Thursday night's Game 6 between the Rockets and Lakers was the most watched basketball game in ESPN's history, according to the Associated Press.

Houston won the game 95-80, forcing a deciding Game 7 between the two clubs in their semifinal series.

The game drew 7.35 million viewers, and earned a 5.4 national rating. The rating in Houston was 16.0, the network's highest local rating for an NBA telecast.
