Trevor Ariza will be an unrestricted free agent and his play with the Lakers will likely result in a significant salary increase.

Lakers assistant Jim Cleamons, who sees Ariza as a future All-Star, clearly wants the wing to be retained.

"That decision is management's," said Cleamons. "Management is looking at the same things we're looking at. I think they'll make the right decision."
