The Toronto Raptors have acquired Reggie Evans from the Philadelphia 76ers for Jason Kapono.

The Sixers have sent out a press release finalizing the trade pending physicals.

The move will save Toronto financially.

Evans is owed $4.6 million next season and $5 million in 2010-11 on his contract.

Kapono's deal will pay him $6.2 million this coming season and $6.6 million the season after.
