Ratings Down For This Year's Finals

Television ratings for the NBA Finals were down from last year's numbers.

The five games between the Lakers and Magic that were broadcast on ABC averaged an 8.4 rating.

Last season's six-game tilt between the Celtics and Lakers averaged a 9.3 rating.
