The Nuggets are expected to extend a qualifying offer to guard Linas Kleiza in the next few days.

Kleiza's qualifying offer for the 2009-10 season is worth $2.7 million, and will make him a restricted free agent.

After a very promising 2007-08 campaign, the guard's numbers were down across the board this past season.

Kleiza is believed to be seeking a multi-year extension.
