The Mavericks have 16 players under contract, but are believed to want to keep James Singleton.

Dallas has two players left on their roster that are unsigned - Singleton and Gerald Green.

In order to get their roster to down 15 players, the Dallas Morning News points out that the team could trade Greg Buckner's favorable contract.
