Toney Douglas has impressed the coaching staff enough to earn playing time when the season opens. Douglas will fill the back-up point guard spot.

"He will be a significant part of the rotation," Mike D'Antoni said. "And hopefully keep growing into a bigger role."

Jordan Hill, selected 8th in this year's draft, will not be part of the Knicks' rotation when their season begins Wednesday in Miami.
