Kings rookie Omri Casspi has impressed in his first week of NBA action. Casspi scored 15 points off the bench in Sacramento's overtime win over Memphis on Monday night. "He's hungry," Kings coach Paul Westphal told the Sacramento Bee. "He brings a fierceness. I wish everybody could look in his eyes when I walk down the bench looking to put somebody in the game. He wants to play so bad." Casspi, the first Israeli-born player in NBA history, looked unsure of himself in Summer League play. "He's not afraid at all," Westphal added. "It was nice for him to be able to show people what he can bring when the game's tough out there." |
