Hawks guard Jamal Crawford says that the Knicks missed the playoffs last season because of their in-season trades.

The Knicks were 6-5 when Donnie Walsh traded Crawford and Zach Randolph, but finished 32-50 and well out of the postseason picture.

"Yes, we would've made the playoffs last year," Crawford said. "I think [39] wins was the playoffs. We would've gotten in."

He added that he was disappointed when the trade occurred because New York was finally winning games.

"Last year was the best start in the last 10 years," said Crawford. "My only regret was that I was here through the roughest times, I wanted to be here for the good times. That's what bothers me the most."
