Nets coach Lawrence Frank knows that his team needs to start winning games if he wants to keep his job.

Even though the Nets have been decimated by injuries, their 0-13 start to the season is disappointing.

The team left on Monday for a four-game road trip, which could result in them matching the NBA's record for season-opening futility, 0-17.

"I know I've got to produce," Frank said. "I take full responsibility. I'm not hiding anywhere. I say bring it on. Put it on me."

Multiple sources told The Record that Frank may be fired if the Nets return from their West Coast swing without a victory.

"We're here to serve our guys," Frank said. "They're working their tails off. We just need to continue to get better. I'm not absolving myself from anything. Right now that record is indicative of where we're at and how I'm coaching. We need to do better."
