When Charlotte traded away Derrick Coleman to the Sixers last month, it was essentially for George Lynch and throw ins. While Lynch is off the court until February after his recent surgery, the Gaston Gazette looks at the other players involved in the trade, and the impact they have had - or could have - on the Hornets.

Chris Porter will not make an impact, as he didn't even make it into Charlotte before being waived. Porter missed his flight, and with his additional baggage he wasn't something the Hornets needed.

Jerome Moiso, the former first round pick by the Celtics, practiced a few times with the Hornets before being hidden away on the injured reserve.

That leaves Robert 'Tractor' Traylor, a huge man who was taken sixth overall in the 1998 draft. Being down on his luck and lacking in confidence during his stay in Milwaukee and Cleveland, Traylor is just happy being on the court in Charlotte. "He’s got an awful lot of talent," Silas said. "It’s just that his confidence is down. We’ve tried to work on that."

Perhaps if Traylor could get some of that weight off and keep it off his confidence would grow. Watching him play he is unquestionably talented, has soft hands, and moves rather well for a man his size. Losing that weight may be the difference between Traylor becoming an impact player or bouncing around a few more teams. Now if only he learnt that.
