Former NBA high flying guard Isiah Rider was arrested Saturday in Los Angeles for investigation of auto theft, the Associated Press is reporting.
Rider was driving a car that failed to stop at an intersection about 2:30 a.m. in the city's Skid Row district, Officer Norma Eisenman said.
Officers checking the license plates discovered the car had been reported stolen from South Los Angeles, and Rider was arrested.

Andrew Bogut is not expected to miss any time despite a collision with the Hawks' Marvin Williams that left the Australian big man bloodied, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel is reporting.
Bogut, going up to grab an inbounds' pass from the baseline, was hit on the nose by Williams, and despite no foul being called, he went to the floor and had to be toweled off by trainer Andre Daniel to clean up the blood.
"That was a rough one," Krystkowiak said of the collision. "He would have had a dunk on the play."
"I don't suspect there will be any problem with that (playing) at all. He was interested in staying in last night, if it wouldn't have been bleeding so much. He's not going to miss anything."

In the midst of a battle for the East's final playoff spot, the Hawks will have Mike Bibby in uniform on Friday night against the Bulls, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Results of an MRI on his sprained left thumb were negative.
"Unless there's something torn or broken, I'm playing," Bibby said Thursday.
"I'm playing, man," he added. "I don't miss games."
