LaFrentz likely to return tonight

If all goes well today, Raef LaFrentz will get his first action in six games after being out with right knee tendinitis.

``He practiced full-out,'' Jim O'Brien said after the holiday session in preparation for the Celtics' home-and-home series with Milwaukee. ``We'll probably sit him out of shootaround (today) and play him (tonight).''

LaFrentz to return Friday

Celtics forward/center Raef LaFrentz has responded well to medication for his tendinitis in his right knee and should be able to return to the lineup on Friday.

"If it goes according to plan," O'Brien said, "he will practice with us on Thanksgiving and try to be ready for Friday. That was not the case yesterday."
