Leasing of suites could delay new arena

AP - A little-noticed agreement between the city and the Charlotte Hornets could delay the start of construction on a proposed arena, city officials said. The two sides have agreed that no arena construction will start without commitments from businesses or individuals to rent 75 percent of the new building's suites and club seats.
