Brevin Knight signs with Bobcats

Former Stanford star Brevin Knight signed with the Charlotte Bobcats today. Knight brings veteran leadership at the point guard position to the expansion club.

Bernie Bickerstaff said, "We are pleased to be able to get a veteran point guard like Brevin Knight who has successfully directed teams in the NBA."

Bobcat Uniforms to be Unveiled

The Charlotte Bobcats will unveil their uniforms at noon today.

Jason Kapono and Gerald Wallace will model the inaugural Bobcat uniforms at a Charlotte mall.

Retailer Finish Line leaks Bobcats jerseys a day early

Sports apparel and footwear retailer Finish Line released replica versions of the new Charlotte Bobcats jerseys for sale today on their Web site, www.finishline.com. The jerseys are to be publically unveiled tomorrow at a press conference in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The home jersey is white with the word Bobcats in a swoosh-type script and a new-age style uniform number. The road jerseys are orange, emblazoned with "Charlotte" in the same font as used on the home jerseys.
