Lenard hurts ankle

DENVER (AP) _ Denver Nuggets guard Voshon Lenard sprained his left ankle in the third quarter against the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night and did not return.

Lenard had 10 points in the first half before limping to the locker room after coming down on someone's foot early in the third quarter. He entered the game shooting just 29 percent, but was 4-for-7 and hit a 3-pointer against the Clippers.
