Michael Jordan is unemployed, at least for now.
When you have one of the world's most famous athletes looking for work, inevitably his name will surface when jobs or opportunities in the basketball world become available.
Which brings us to the Milwaukee Bucks.
Ever since Jordan was dumped by the Washington Wizards, he has been linked to possible positions with the Chicago Bulls, the new Charlotte expansion franchise and the Bucks.
In recent days, two newspapers, citing anonymous sources, reported that Jordan is looking into the possibility of buying the Bucks.

Larry Brown has always buzzed from job to job like a fly in search of the perfect piece of watermelon. He has never won an NBA championship. He's 62 years old.
So what?
Brown would still be an ideal fit for the new Charlotte NBA franchise as its coach. This fledgling team should buy as many tickets as it can to try and win the new Larry Brown Lotto.
The next place Brown coaches will be his 10th, and like the previous nine he will leave a better team than he finds. Brown is a fretful gypsy, but no one is any smarter about basketball or coaches defense any harder. Brown was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in September, with Dean Smith as his presenter.
Lots of people will want him, so landing him is a long shot. But while Houston and Cleveland would seem to have a better chance at grabbing Brown, no one ever thought Lou Holtz would wind up at South Carolina, either. Here is a chance for new owner Bob Johnson to make a cannonball splash.

Robert L. Johnson, founder of Black Entertainment Television, said yesterday that he is dropping his efforts to buy the Montreal Expos and move them to the Washington area. Johnson, a District resident, cited his "heavy involvement" as owner of the NBA's expansion franchise in Charlotte and "the fact I think the baseball train is moving significantly slower than I thought it would move."
In a telephone interview, Johnson said, "It's particularly a lot to do at the pace baseball is moving. If it was moving faster and I could see the direction [for a move in 2004], I could perhaps be more aggressive in making things happen. But, as it stands now, the better part of my time and resources could be spent on everything I need to get done in Charlotte."
