Lebron, Carmelo, and Wade unanimous for the All-Rookie selections

Cleveland's G Lebron James, Denver's F Carmelo Anthony, and Miami's G Dwayne Wade have all received the maximum 56 points in the voting done by 29 head coaches to determine the got milk? NBA All-Rookie teams. Rounding out the First Team are Toronto's F Chris Bosh and Chicago's G Kirk Hinrich, each respectively finising with 3 and 4 votes less than the leading trio.

The got milk? NBA All-Rookie Second Team consisted of Dallas’ Josh Howard (29 points) and Marquis Daniels (20 points), Milwaukee’s T.J. Ford (27 points), Udonis Haslem of the Heat (21 points) and Washington’s Jarvis Hayes (20 points).

The 29 head coaches were asked to select the two teams regardless of position. A First Team vote received 2 points, while a Second Team vote got 1 point. They couldn't vote for a player of their own.

All-Defensive teams announced

Ron Artest finally got his spot on the NBA All-Defensive 1st team, after missing out on it last season, even though he then finished 2nd in voting for the Defensive Player of the Year. This year, however, he found a way to improve in both those categories. G Ron Artest, who finished ranked 3rd in the league in steals per game and held the players he guarded to only 8.1 points on 9.3 shots per game, led the voting for the NBA All-Defensive teams, was joined on the 1st team C Ben Wallace, F Kevin Garnett, G Kobe Bryant, and G Bruce Bowen.

This is Wallace's 3rd consecutive 1st team selection, but he's still behind Garnett, who has 5 such appearances. Other 1st teamers, Bryant and Bowen, each have 3 and 4 All-Defensive apperances, respectively.

NBA's All-Defensive 2nd team consists of: G Doug Christie G Jason Kidd C Theo Ratliff F Andrei Kirilenko F Tim Duncan
